A most unusual pipe band album because within The Scottish Gas Caledonian Pipe Band (as it was known in 1993), there was a ceilidh band also.
The Pipe Band was held in high regard on the piping scene, and the Ceilidh Band played at many dances and events.
The Pipe Band was under the direction of Pipe Major Gordon Campbell, a real piping enthusiast, playing a mixture of traditional and recently composed Scottish and Irish tunes and the Pipe Sergeant was Willie McBride.
This album has sold very well over the years.
