15 tracks: The Old Dog’s Song * The Armageddon Waltz * Embers * The Girl in The Photo * Song For Susan * The Source of Light * If She Ever Dreamed * A Cottage in The Country * The Flag * Catching The Wave * The Border * When The Last Tree Falls * Eric’s Never Written a Song About Me * Mind The Gap / A Dear John Letter * If I Should Wake.
Recorded in late 2021 in Australia. Greentrax Managing Director Ian Green considers this to be Eric Bogle’s best album for some time.
Eric surrounded himself in the studio with some amazing talent: Emma Luker (fiddle, cello, viola, harmony vocals) arranged vocals, wrote a tune in memory of the late John Munro and designed the artwork; Pete Titchener (guitar, vocals) contributed two songs, recorded and produced the album; Damien Steele Scott (acoustic guitar, bass); Jon Jones (percussion); Richard Cotes (accordion, keyboards); The Sherrahs (harmony vocals); Anthony Stewart (mandolin, electric guitar) and Anthony O’Neill (tenor banjo). On The Girl in The Photo: Peter Franche (accordion); Gina Jeffreys (vocals); Rod McCormack (acoustic guitar) and Mike Haynes (bass). On Catching The Wave: Chris While (vocals) and Julie Mathews (keyboards). On A Cottage in The Country: The Bogle Pub Choir.
There is one song written by the late John Munro (The Border), two by Pete Titchener (Eric’s Never Written a Song About Me and The Girl in The Photo) and a tune by Emma Luker (Mind The Gap). All other songs are written by Eric Bogle.
To be released 1st February 2022.

Eddie Seaman plays the Highland bagpipe and whistle. He is accompanied on six tracks by the very talented multi-instrumentalist Aaron Jones, who plays bouzouki and double bass on the album. Eddie is joined on the Uamh an Oir (Cave of Gold) track by the very fine Gaelic singer Maeve Mackinnon for this wonderful song.
Eddie is a highly rated, top class bagpiper, teacher and composer, both in the piping world and the Scottish music scene in general. His piping and whistle skills are amply demonstrated on this outstanding debut solo album.
