This was one of several featured folk/traditional presentations in the official programme of the Edinburgh International Festival. The series of Gaelic concerts not only raised the profile of Gaelic song and the language and placed it on a world stage, but drew in sell-out audiences.
The album fully captures the atmosphere in venue of this live concert.
